🛠️ Step-by-Step Installation (General Guide)
1. Preparation
- Tools: Screwdrivers, wire strippers, electrical tape, zip ties.
- Safety: Disconnect vehicle battery before wiring to avoid short circuits.
- Check compatibility: Ensure tracker supports your vehicle type (car, motorcycle, fleet, etc.).
2. Installation Methods
- Plug-and-Play (OBD-II):
- Locate the OBD-II port (usually under the dashboard).
- Insert tracker firmly.
- Test by checking LED indicators or app connectivity.
- Hardwired Tracker:
- Connect red wire to constant power (battery).
- Connect black wire to ground.
- Optional: connect ignition wire for advanced features.
- Secure with zip ties and insulate with tape.
- Portable/Magnetic Tracker:
- Charge fully before use.
- Place in a concealed but signal-friendly location (e.g., under seat, trunk edge).
- Avoid fully enclosed metal compartments that block GPS signals.

- Best signal: Near windshield or dashboard, away from heavy metal obstructions.
